HYPEFRESH: Let’s start by introducing ourselves. You know the basics, like name, age, and where you’re from, as much or little as you’re comfortable sharing.
Bazzare: My name is Basit Jolasun, but my stage name is Bzar. I am 24 years old and was born in New Jersey but raised in Montreal, Canada, with African roots in Nigeria and Benin.
HYPEFRESH: Can you tell us about your new single, “Ice”?
Bazzare: “Ice” is a song that should get you feeling yourself. We wanted to find a fantastic way to say if you think of yourself, she will touch you too. The featuring artist Kjbeat is an upcoming Montreal rapper, producer, and mixing engineer. Ice is part of an enormous body of work. Coldest summer new EP out on all streaming platforms.
HYPEFRESH: What do you like most about being a music artist?
Bazzare: What motivates me to make music is the joy and satisfaction of putting in a body of work cherished and praised by millions. There is no more incredible feeling in this world than acknowledgment.
