On Monday, November 29th, the “Umbrella” singer received the honorable title from the Bajan Prime Minister Mia Mottley.
“On behalf of a grateful nation, but an even prouder people, we, therefore, present to you the designee for a National Hero of Barbados, Ambassador Robyn Rihanna Fenty . . . May you continue to shine like a diamond and bring honor to your nation by your works, by your actions and to do credit wherever you shall go.”
As mentioned, Rihanna also became the Barbados Ambassador responsible for tourism to the country. Of course, the Prime Minster’s words were met with gratitude from the singer.
The Singer Accepts Her New Title In Style
Not only did Rihanna accept her newest role as an Ambassador and National Hero of Barbados, but she did so in style.
