Within the last couple of months, former NFL WR Antonio Brown (news) has antagonized Tampa Bay Buccaneers QB Tom Brady for some odd reason. While Brown was on his way out of the league, Brady went out on a limb for him and not only secured him a job but he helped him win a Super Bowl ring. Yet, Brown has continued to make fun of Brady’s marital situation.
Recently, the messages leaked from Tom Brady that he sent to Brown from a year ago, according to TMZ Sports. Tom Brady sent Brown a long text message describing their selfish and erratic behavior. Naturally, Brown took a screenshot of the message and published it on his Snapchat for the world to see. It was unprompted and uncalled for, yet, Brown attempts to make a mockery of their “friendship”.
“You are demonstrating very poor decisions and poor communication to so many people who have gone above and beyond to help you,” Brady wrote. “You are acting selfishly and unfortunately many of those people are exhausted by the erratic and unpredictable emotional behavior.”
“When I met you, you were humble, willing to learn, and anxious to improve things in your life,” Brady wrote. “In a short period of time, you have done those things and accomplished some great things. And very much on the path to success long term. Unfortunately, you have reverted very much back to a young immature man that is selfish, self-serving, irrational, and irresponsible.”
Antonio Brown Continues to Antagonize Tom Brady with his Antics
Prior to this incident, Brown shared a photo of Brady’s wife at the time, Giselle Bündchen, and himself at the Super Bowl. He later then began selling T-shirts eluding to an Antonio Brown and Giselle relationship which exists outside of Brady’s. The Antonio Brown tweet details that proceeds from the shirt sales will be donated to the “America’s fatherless kids” charity.
On Oct. 9, Brown posted an image of a book with the title “Daddy Doesn’t Live Here Anymore” with inappropriate illustrations in regards to Brady’s family. He later followed that up with another image of his face cropped on Brady’s body next to Bundchen.
This was all subliminal and intended to take pokes at Brady while finalizing a divorce.
“I for one, am disappointed in many behaviors over the past few months,” Brady wrote. “You have seemed to have lost that humility and that APG. You have gone from hanging around good quality people that had a genuine interest in seeing you succeed, to seeing others whose lives are erratic and out of control and leading you down a negative path.”
