Antonio Brown is losing some of his deals, because of rape allegations following him around.
Antonio Brown was accused of sexual assault and rape by his former trainer, Britney Taylor. Taylor claims Antonio sexually assaulted and physically took advantage of her on three separate occasions. Because of those claims, Nike has decided to end their ties with the athlete.
Prior to the federal lawsuit, Antonio and Nike had come to an agreement. Nike created a shoe deal with Antonio and was selling a shoe in his name. Starting in February, they began to sell the Nike Tech Trainer Antonio Brown for $100 a pair.
However, according to TMZ, they have stopped all sales as of lately. On top of that, Antonio’s helmet deal with Xenith has been stopped too.
Antonio denies all allegations. He says the sexual encounters that he and Taylor shared were all consensual encounters. In other words, Taylor is lying on his reputation.
Recently, AB signed a new deal with the New England Patriots after being released by his last NFL team the Raiders.
In midst of the scandal, the Patriots team says they will investigate the situation before making any major decisions about AB’s future with the team.
Antonio plans to fight the allegations against him.
