The NFL had another player test positive for COVID-19 since the restart.
Stephon Gilmore is the latest NFL player to test positive for COVID-19 raising questions about its future. Gilmore joins teammate Cam Newton on the Reserve/COVID-19 list along with another New England Patriots practice player.
The NFL is issuing new protocol standards to teams after yet another positive coronavirus case.
Football fans should be really nervous about all the news coming out of the NFL today. Stephon Gilmore wasn’t the only positive in this round of testing, but several players from other teams did as well. Additionally, Gilmore was in action Monday night following close contact with Cam Newton. Suggesting, this is only the beginning of an ongoing problem.
Positive test No. 3 for the Patriots. Cam Newton was the first. It was reported yesterday that practice-squad defensive lineman Bill Murray had tested positive as well.
Gilmore is the only one of the three who traveled to Kansas City and played in Monday night’s game. https://t.co/7yydIu9KYu

Furthermore, with more Titans players testing positive and a game already postponed, the league is already taking a loss.
Conversely, the NBA is finishing up a rather successful attempt at Profesional sports during a pandemic. Other Major Leagues like MLB have been struggling to replicate such success but not for lack of a working model.
The NFL is famous for prioritizing profits over people; they even have a movie about it. Thus it should be no surprise that Football was the priority over the player’s health when it came to COVID.
What do you guys think about Stephen Gilmore being another NFL COVID-19 positive? Does this put the league in danger?
