    All things Pokemon Go in June: A Rundown of Events.

    A new month is on the horizon and Pokémon Go has a lot planned for trainers. Look forward to raids, research events, special tasks, community day, and increased rewards. As per usual, there will be featured Pokémon for most of these events. Although it does appear they are zero-ing in on featuring one Pokémon at a time. Here’s what to look forward to in June.

    Save Shadow Zapdos from Giovanni

    Giovanni will have Shadow Zapdos available from June 1, 2021, 12:00 a.m. to June 17, 2021, 12:00 a.m. local time.

    Tip: Complete the special research task “The Higher They Fly” to obtain a special radar for tracking down Giovanni.

    From June 1, 2021, 1:00 p.m. to July 1, 2021, 1:00 p.m. PDT (GMT -7), Clamperl will appear in Research Breakthrough encounters. Earn a free Remote Raid Pass and double XP when you achieve a Research Breakthrough.

    Pokémon in raids

    Regirock, Regice, and Registeel will be available in five-star raids from June 1, 2021, 10:00 a.m. to June 17, 2021, 10:00 a.m. local time.

    From June 17, 2021, 10:00 a.m. to June 30, 2021, 10:00 a.m. local time, a surprise Legendary Pokémon will be featured in raids!

    Mega-Evolved Pokémon will be appearing in Mega Raids (only one mega pokemon will be featured at a time this month)

    • Mega Lopunny will appear in Mega Raids from Tuesday, June 1, 2021, at 10:00 a.m. to Tuesday, June 8, 2021, at 10:00 a.m. local time.
    • Mega Slowbro will make its Pokémon GO debut in Mega Raids from June 8, 2021, 10:00 a.m. to June 17, 2021, 10:00 a.m. local time.
    • Mega Gyarados will be available in Mega Raids from June 17, 2021, 10:00 a.m. to July 2, 2021, 10:00 a.m. local time.

    Spotlight Hours (Wednesday 6-7)

    The following featured Pokémon will appear during spotlight hours.

    Wednesday, June 2, 2021: Regirock
    Wednesday, June 9, 2021: Registeel
    Wednesday, June 16, 2021: Regice
    Wednesday, June 23, 2021: To be announced
    Wednesday, June 30, 2021: To be announced

    Community Day: Gible Feature

    Sunday, June 6, 2021, from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time for a Community Day event featuring Gible

    Paid ticket: Just a Nibble Gible Community Day ticket will cost you $1

    • Possible rewards for paid ticket include: 10 Pinap Berries, 3 Silver Pinap Berries, 15 Poké Balls, 15 Great Balls, 15 Ultra Balls, 2 Incense, 3 Rare Candy, 7500 XP, 6000 Stardust, 4 Swablu encounters, an Altaria encounter, 300 Swablu Candy, a Rocket Radar, and an Egg Incubator.

    Community Event Rundown

    • As with every community day, there are special Field Research Task to be completed, so spin PokeStops so you can obtain them.
    • The rewards from the Field Research Tasks will be a possible four-star Gible, (10-10-10 Perfect IV) Complete tasks and spin pokestops for increased odds.
    • Dragon-Type Pokémon will give an extra candy for Wild Dragon-type Pokémon. If trainers need to evolve megas, take advantage of this opportunity.  (Charizard X, Ampharos, Altaria), Trainers will end Community Day with lots of Gible Candy, which is great! – It gives 1 extra Candy for wild catches of the same type. Exploit this advantage to maximize rewards.

    A Very Slow Discovery:

    Starting June 8, 2021, at 10:00 a.m. until June 13, 2021, at 8:00 p.m. local time, Pokémon GO will introduce Galarian Slowpoke, Galarian Slowbro, and Mega Slowbro for the first time! This event focuses on both relaxed and energetic Pokémon and includes a Collection Challenge featuring Slowpoke and other Pokémon.

    Solstice Event:

    Celebrate the solstice event with us from June 17th, 10:00 a.m. to June 20th, 8:00 p.m. local time! Trainers in the north will encounter summer-themed Pokémon, while those in the south will find winter-themed Pokémon.

    But wait, there’s more…

    If that isn’t enough to keep you busy this month,  Pokémon Go has a special event planned that they have yet to release details on. Keep a look out as they will release more details on June 16, 2021. Trainers will encounter this unexpected event from Friday, June 25, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. through Thursday, July 1, 2021 at 8:00 p.m. local time!
