Adele Explains

Adele’s new album 25 is set to come out in November, and this time its a different side of Adele.

Everyone is patiently waiting for Adele, her first single will air on BBC Radio 1 on Friday, October 30th. It is unclear which track will be the debut single, but she took to Twitter to explain why it took her so long to record.

Adele has been around for a few years, and has made a great name for herself simply based off her raw talent alone. She even gives credit to smoking cigarettes as being a part to how her voice sounds.

“My last record was a break-up record and if I had to label this one, I would call it a make-up record,” Adele wrote. “Making up for lost time. Making up for everything I ever did and never did.” She continued on the age’s impact on her, a time in which she also gave birth to her first son Angelo. “Turning 25 was a turning point for me, slap bang in the middle of my twenties. Teetering on the edge of being an old adolescent and a fully fledged adult.”

Adele’s sophomore album 21 was released in 2011, and has sold over 11 million copies in the United States alone, it is the biggest selling album of this decade. Going through some of Adele’s old tweets; she did give us a hint of this album coming back in 2014.
