Aaron Carter Desperate For Cash? Selling Rescue Dog For Money?

Aaron Carter is facing off against a mob of angry dog lovers, and it’s all over some he-say she-say mumbo jumbo.

His trouble all started after he adopted an English bulldog from an animal shelter. The animal shelter, Lancaster Animal Care Center, claims that Aaron Carter posted a video on his social media, where he advertised the rescue dog as up for sale.

Aaron, on the other hand, says it’s all a lie. Sure he got on social media to talk about his new 4-legged friend, but he wasn’t serious when gave the dog a $3,500 price tag.

“This is my new buddy. So by the way, if I can’t keep him, I am going to be listing him,” Carter said in the video. “He’s 10 months old, and he’s running for $3,500. So if anybody wants to give my English bulldog (a home), I rescue him and I find him homes.”

Aaron claims that it was a bad joke. He got on Twitter to tell people to leave him alone, says Page Six.

“I think it’s apalling that I actually even have to explain myself I’ve rescued many dogs & found many dogs homes. what I said in my Instagram live video was a joke. Find one dog that I adopted and sold for money, be my guest. WONT HAPPEN. I’m a good person and i deserve respect.”

“And with all due respect I own a home I make over $3 million a year I don’t need to sell a dog for money so have some respect and don’t try to slander my name because I will defend myself and I will take legal action. DONT TRY IT. So back the fuck off… gn”

Aaron named the pup Mighty. So far Mighty is still living with the singer–or at least until Aaron can find the highest bidder.

It’s too doggone hard to tell the truth at this point…
