A$AP Rocky has a Swedish angel on his side!
Two women who witnessed the fight involving A$AP Rocky told the Swedish court that they did not see him or his friends hit the 19-year-old boy with a bottle.
One of the women testified that she was eating with her friend at a restaurant in Stockholm on June 30 when they saw A$AP Rocky.
The two women rushed outside to have a photo taken with him but their tracks were quickly put to a holt.
Rocky pleaded not guilty at the start of the trial Tuesday. He says he acted in self-defense when Jafari and another man would not leave them alone. Two other suspects also are charged.
Meanwhile, the Swedish prosecution authority on Friday said it has rejected the request by President Trump to release Rocky and two of his associates, according to The Washington Post.
According to Page Six, the woman testified that she heard a bottle being crushed. She could not say whether Rocky’s entourage threw it to the ground or hit Jafari with it.
She also said she didn’t see A$AP Rocky holding a bottle during the interaction.
Her friend testified that she didn’t see anyone hitting Jafari with a bottle.
“Everything happened very quickly. We were scared for our lives,” the first woman testified.
“He (Jafari) was bleeding. (Jafari) showed his injuries on his hand. He also said he had a sore back.”
A$AP Rocky’s fans gathered outside the court chanting “Free Rocky” and playing his music.
The case has drawn the attention of celebrities, including Sean “Diddy” Combs and Justin Bieber. A social media campaign has been pressing for the rapper’s release.
