50 Cent Will Be Giving Away Free Turkeys This Thanksgiving

50 Cent tends to make headlines for all the wrong reasons. As of recent, though, the rap mogul has seemingly turned a corner. In fact, the rapper will be giving back to the community in a big way this Thanksgiving. In a time of holiday cheer and reflecting on all our good fortunes, it’s always nice to see celebrities doing a good deed. Furthermore, the Power executive producer will be giving out free turkey’s to those in need this holiday season.

    50 Cent Feeds The Community

When it comes to 50 Cent, the guy attracts controversy to him almost as much as Kanye West does. Not to mention, he’s known for being a celebrity internet troll and will roast anyone. However, the rap mogul recently did something uncharacteristic and yet, humbling.

This week, The Houston Rockets and 50 Cent’s G-Unit Foundation joined forces to give away free turkeys on Thanksgiving Day. Furthermore, the rapper and the organization are scheduled to give back to the city of Houston from 10am-tpm at the Toyota Center.

Moreover, the turkeys will be on a first-come, first serve basis. Additionally, one Thanksgiving meal will be served per vehicle. The food served are donations made from the G-Unity Foundation, Kroger and Spec’s. Not only will Houston residents in need receive a free, hot meal on the holiday, they’ll also receive a ticket voucher to a Rockets home game. Unfortunately, only 1,000 will be served to those in need. Nonetheless, the rapper is doing a generous offer to the community.

50 Cent Wants To Change His Community

Though, the rap mogul isn’t just stopping with his turkey-drive giveaway. In fact, it’s just a part of his ongoing partnership with the The Houston Rockets. Furthermore, his G-Unity Foundation and the Rocket’s Clutch City Foundation plan to carry out other community efforts that will help those in need. The rapper has a heart of gold.
