50 Cent has announced that there are three more Power spin-offs in development with Starz. Totaling four spin-off shows as the main series wrapped up its run this past Sunday, February 9th, after a very successful six seasons.

50 Cent and Starz are expanding the Power universe with three new spin-off series: Power Book III: Raising Kanan, Power Book IV: Influence, and Power Book V: Force. These will join the previously announced Power Book II: Ghost, making it a total of four upcoming spin-offs. Courtney A. Kemp and 50 Cent will executive produce the spin-offs.
Starz President and CEO Jeffrey Hirsch said in a statement to The Hollywood Reporter. What he thought the development of these spin-offs meant for both the franchise and the network. Only a few TV shows have ever inspired four consecutive series extensions produced and developed simultaneously. These exciting new chapters will continue the journey of Power’s controversial characters, alongside a diverse ensemble of complex individuals, delivering the same high-octane drama that made Power stand out.
The spin-off “Raising Kanan” is a prequel story that is set in the ’90s. The show explores the early years of Power character Kanan Stark, played by 50 Cent himself. The fourth book, “Influence,” will follow Larenz Tate’s character, Rashad Tate, as he pursues Power. The fifth spin-off, “Force,” will follow Joseph Sikora’s Tommy Egan as he leaves New York in pursuit of a new business venture. These series join the original spin-off, “Ghost,” made of an all-star cast including Mary J. Blige, Method Man, and many members of the original show and pick up where the flagship ends.
With the massive success that Power has become, it’s understandable that the show would receive the opportunity for spin-offs.
