Before you get a good anime, you need to have a great manga.
Manga is the starting point for anime. It’s a giant comic book of Japanese goodness. Literally, mangas are comics or graphic novels created in Japan or using the Japanese language and conforming to a style made in Japan in the 19th century.
These Japanese comics are the staple ground to determine if they need an anime. And HypeFresh is here to give you 3 mangas that you should read before they blow.
Zipman is a different type of anime. It tells the story of two brothers who are opposites. The genius of the brothers Koshiro Tatara is a genius mechanical engineer who has done exceptionally well for himself. On the other hand, we have his brother Kaname who is not a genius like Koshiro but is athletic and hardworking.
One day a giant robot appears, and Kaname is then suited up into a “zip” suit that transforms into his childhood superhero. The best part is that his brother’s soul is transferred into that suit.
They fight other zip suits to save the day. While discovering the mystery of where these suits came from and why his brother’s soul is in one of them. Check it out before it becomes big. The manga is created by Yusaku Shibata, a former assisted of One Piece creator, Oda Eiichiro, so it should know how to hold a mystery.
2. Guardian of the Witch
In a world of evil human-eating monsters called…evils, this knight is on a journey to get rid of them without the aid of witches. Guardian of the Witch tells the story of girls becoming artificial witches to kill “evils.” The crazy part is that to create a witch, you must use a piece of evil to give them power. Also, when a witch gets to a certain point in their life, a guardian attempts to kill her before she changes to an evil.
However, Fafner decided not to kill Manasfa, but instead go on the run to try and turn her back into a human. This anime is an action pack and has a good sense of character development in only five chapters. I’m excited to see how this one will turn out in the future.
Asahi Sakano creates the manga, a former assistant of “Black Clover’s” Yuuki Tabata. You can tell with all the swords and hard workers going around in anime.
1. Samurai 8: The Tale of Hachimaru
Samurai 8: The Tale of Hachimaru is the project created by Naruto’s creator, Masashi Kishimoto. This manga tells the story of Hachimaru, a terminally ill boy who had to live on a life support system to live. One day a samurai master in a cat’s body comes and helps the boy become a samurai. They then become a student and master duo, who travels the world looking for keys to unlock an item that can save the universe.
This manga is fantastic. Not only are there samurai, but there are also giant robots and a cool story that will have you excited and confuse all around. The story is hard on Shinto religion and Japanese culture but is defiantly one to keep an eye on.
It’s from the creator of Naruto, so I know you ninja junkies need a fix of Kishimoto’s writing.
