In celebration of the late artist’s birthday, XXXTENTACION’s camp released two new songs, one of which features Lil Uzi. If it wasn’t for XXXtentacion’s death, the Florida native would have been 25 today. “I’m Not Human” featuring Lil Uzi, listen by clicking the videos below.
XXX’s camp posted news about the songs on Instagram:
A gift from Jah… Thank you #liluzi 1.23.23
The release was met with mixed reviews on Twitter, with some happy to hear new music from X, and some upset thinking that the label is just trying to make more money off of the late artist.
I was just talking about this what the fuck https://t.co/lMM4o6rt74

This isn’t the first time that Lil Uzi showed his love for XXXtentacion.
The delicate and melancholy single mostly features a guitar-heavy instrumental without any drums. It is unclear whether Uzi’s vocals were recorded before XXX’s passing, seeing as how Uzi expressed his hesitance for making a posthumous song with him in the past.
X’s other song, “Very Rare Forever Freestyle,” had more energy and a catchy flow to make you experience joy for the music and remorse for the artist’s passing.
